Eduardo Perez is an operations and process improvement leader with over 15 years of operational and corporate experience. Eduardo possesses Bachelor's Degrees in Mathematics & Engineering, a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University with a focus on Finance & Organizational Behavior.
Eduardo is considered an expert in leadership and process improvement practices and has won several awards for his business turnaround achievements. Eduardo has saved the companies he has worked for millions of dollars, has helped them significantly reduce errors, and has helped them improve their cycle times, which have all contributed to improving the customer experience. In addition, he has held executive positions and led operational organizations comprised of hundreds of people while delivering 100% employee engagement scores, he has led smaller teams of analysts who develop corporate strategy, and has held roles in a consulting capacity. In addition, he has worked in a manufacturing environment as a quality engineer. He has held various leadership positions across the manufacturing, technology, and the financial services industries and has served as guest and keynote speaker for various events. He is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Lean Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). In 2016, Eduardo was awarded the 40 Under 40 Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers (YHCA) Award for Hispanic professionals across the US, awarded by the Hispanic Association for Corporate Responsibly.
Eduardo's most recent corporate role was as Director of Operations at Capital One. Eduardo is currently the Managing Director of Operations & Process of TPM Consulting Group which focuses on helping small to medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs be adequately prepared operationally & process-wise as they experience growth or are about to grow. Eduardo also functions as the chief blogger of the video blog website theprocessman.com. He is also the author of the book, "Simplified Process Improvement, The art of process improvement decoded into 5 simple steps."
In addition, Eduardo has served as President of a Dallas-Fort Worth Hispanic organization chapter consisting of 800 members and was also National lead of a Hispanic Professional organization consisting of 3,000 members with the responsibility of strategy, mentorship program, community efforts, budget, and employee engagement. Eduardo serves as an active leader at his local church.
